This was a delightful surprise for my sister...she loved it! I didn't realize the amount of over spray on the stencil so when I picked it up it dropped. Now I know and adjusted my strategy.

Thank you for sharing your rainwork, it looks great! You ARE awesome 😄
The first surface I used —which resembles the surface in your marketing—resulted in a very poor result.
I will try again with a small patch of fresh cement that has very little grain.
The little trial bottle is not likely to last if I try to apply it to the larger stencil, so this is overall a major disappointment.
Store owner replied:
Hi Martin, the concrete in your image has a lot of exposed aggregate and looks quick rough. Definitely give it another test on some smoother concrete that also has good contrast. (No asphalt).
Friendly reminder to spray lightly! That little bottle can make about 10 of those stencils with the right spraying technique and wind-blocking.
This was my first attempt and is on the sidewalk in front of my home.
Give. Peace. A Chance.
This was a fun team project and employees are loving them, we placed by employee entrances to City Hall. Planning some at other City facilities! Still learning how to hold down stencils and spray so enough but not too wet but that is part of the fun.
A colleague of mine and I created a surprise around City Hall in the City of Falls Church, VA... used the "You are Awesome" stencil by the two employee building entrances, and then the one we made "Better Together" at the public entrance near the Welcome Sign, as well as the main sidewalk. The "Better Together" was a community phrase that grew out of COVID and revived as we supported the community food insecurity with federal layoffs and grant delays. Both messages are consistent with our vision and mission for inclusivity and equity, including our sign with WELCOME in multiple languages. The next day, with the light rain, we overheard two employees asking who created it and what thoughtful graffiti!
My mom and I had a terrific time testing out the new stencil and large spray bottle. We had so much fun and then we had a surprise shower! I couldn’t wait to go see it! Now we want to do this everywhere.

Aw, that's so wonderful! Thanks for making people's rainy days brighter 😍 Thank you for sharing your video, can't wait to see what you do next!
Easy to use and good results. Tho I didn't think about the drip off of the stencil.
I have thought about Rainworks for years. I have gotten into Banksy and stencil art this year. It rains most days here in Scotland! I have hopes of doing a project with children and stencils of their feet and do Rainworks of their foot prints on the sidewalks of our neighborhood.
I wish there was a local source for the product. $160.00 is a little too expensive for a bottle of spray to do a large project. Here is a sunflower stencil, that I have spray painted in color on walls of the neighborhood, covering up gang tags. I have just started painting on sidewalks with The Rainworks bottle of spray that I purchased.

The stencil popping tutorial was helpful, once I got the hang of taking the pieces out it was pretty easy. The white stencil shows dirt really easily, but its easy to rinse off.
Love the flower designs! The best way to take the pieces out is to poke an edge of every piece with a dull pencil first before you start pulling them out. If you get the lily be extra careful! I bent the thin middle pieces of the petals but you can just bend them back with your fingers and it's fine.
The kit and the 'Humankind Be Both' stencil were a gift for my niece; I don't have photos, but she loved the gift and the concept. She's happily anticipating Halloween!

Thank you for the review! Our stencils can be popped out by hand by folding it away from yourself along the cut lines. There should be instructions included, but they are also available on this page: https://rain.works/pages/stencil-instructions
Super cute, and fun. My kids love splashing water on their rainworks designs.
Store owner replied:
Hi Shelley,
I'm sorry to hear it turned out as blobs! If Invisible Spray is sprayed too heavily on the ground, it can bleed under the edges, regardless of how well the stencil is taped down. We always recommend spraying very lightly, just enough to slightly darken the concrete!
If you have any other issues, email us at contact@rain.works and we can help you get what you need!
Popping out the stencils only took a couple minutes, but I had to be a little more careful around the corners than I expected. Stencil feels nice and resilient, though, definitely won't wear out, even if I use it with spray paint!
